As much as I love modeling, sometimes even I need a break...which is why I want to tell you about a special cat named Tiggy.
Tiggy is a stray who's been living in our apartment complex for at least 4-5 years. She's really friendly, so Mama & Daddy tried to adopt her before I was born. But she refused to get anywhere near Lalo (and who can blame her, really?!). They still wanted a companion for Lalo so here I am, but I digress. Early last year Tiggy found a home with an elderly couple, much to my parents' delight. However, she showed up at our door on Christmas day, begging for food. After she had her fill, Daddy walked her back to her house, only to discover that the house was empty (as in, moved out).
Who can say what really happened? Maybe those people abandoned her...but maybe Tiggy refused to move with them because she enjoys her freedom. She's been a 'community cat' all her life: living by the pool, greeting her favorite humans as they come to the pool or gym, escorting them back home for the low, low price of some pettings and food. Rest of the time she is free to come and go as she please. Maybe she didn't want to give that up. Who knows?
